บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย

            การศึกษาเรื่อง “คลังข้อมูลสารนิเทศเอเชียตะวันออก” มีวัตถุประสงค์ 3 ประการคือ

1.      เพื่อเป็นคลังข้อมูลเฉพาะด้านที่เป็นแหล่งเก็บ และแหล่งชี้ข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวข้องกับญี่ปุ่น จีน และเกาหลี

2.      เพื่อให้บริการแก่นักวิชาการ นักศึกษา โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งนักศึกษาในระดับสูงกว่าปริญญาตรี และหน่วยงานต่างๆ ทั้งในภาครัฐบาลและเอกชน ตลอดจนบุคคลทั่วไปที่สนใจศึกษาค้นคว้าวิจัยในเรื่องเกี่ยวกับเอเชียตะวันออกศึกษา

3.      เพื่อสนับสนุนการเรียนการสอนด้านเอเชียตะวันออกศึกษาในมหาวิทยาลัยโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการศึกษาในระดับสูงกว่าปริญญาตรี

           ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ มีความจำเป็นต้องวิเคราะห์และออกแบบระบบคลังข้อมูลสารนิเทศฯ เพื่อสามารถนำข้อมูลที่มีอยู่มาใช้ประโยชน์ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ การวิเคราะห์และออกแบบได้แสดงให้เห็นระบบที่มีอยู่ (Existing System) และระบบที่ต้องการ (System Requirement) โดยยึดหลักการพัฒนาระบบงานโครงการแบบ SDL C (System Development Life Cycle

         จากการศึกษา ได้ผลออกมาในรูปแบบของฐานข้อมูลคอมพิวเตอร์เกี่ยวกับประเทศในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกได้แก่ จีน ญี่ปุ่น เกาหลี ประมาณ 10,000 รายการ

Abstract

            The Study on “Data Bank of East Asian Information” have the three following objectives :

1.      To be the center for the study and research of East Asian Studies which covers materials pertaining to Korea, China as well as Japan.

2.      To provide service to scholars, researchers and students, especially students in graduate level both in and outside Thammasat University and others who acquire for information concerning East Asian Studies

3.      To promote and support teaching and learning concerning East Asian studies in higher education at the university level and institutions.

                Under the study, A System Analysis and Design has also been implemented in order to enhance the efficiency of subsequent data retrieval and utilization.  The Analysis and Design compare the Existing System with System Requirement by using SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) concept.

From the Study, approximately 10,000 records concerning East Asian countries have been complied as a computer database.
