These are, perhaps, among the most successful activities of the Center. There are all together five types of seminars and conferences currently being conducted at the Center. They are as follows:

Academic Services

            The Institute of East Asian Studies has greatly expanded  its  academic  services  to  the public in the form   of   lecture   series,    and   conferences. These  include international and national conferences, training workshops and seminars for provincial teachers, the Annual Seminar of Thai - Japanese,  Thai – Korean,  Thai – Chinese  and Thai - Indochinese Monitoring Groups, and Seminars for visiting scholars. In addition, the Institute publishes two journals:  The Journal of Japanese Studies and The Journal of  East Asian Studies. It also publishes conference proceedings and  various researches monographs,  as well  as  translated  texts.
